... "brought those teams along with us." The AAC would be an upgrade for all of those teams in competition, NY6/CFP access, and national respect over the current MWC. Also, Boise showed a willingness to team up with those teams in the past (the Big East remnants at least) before the MWC bought them off by giving them a bigger share of FB revenue.
But that right there might be the sticking point for Boise, that, by moving to the AAC, they'd have to give up their deal of getting paid more than everyone else in their conference. However, you'd have to think that, with the AAC's recent success and adding two of the MWC's strongest teams/draws in BSU and SDSU, plus adding BYU, that they'd be able to negotiate a better contract, payout than the MWC is currently providing them.
