Is that this safety driver was not paying attention to the road. I think it’s fair to say that that’s an act of irresponsibility. What we don’t know yet is whether the accident could have been avoidable had he been watching the road.

But even if this one was unavoidable, there are going to others that would have been / will be avoidable.

I’m only commenting on the relevance of this guy’s criminal history (if that’s even true). I think it is because it’s a sign of irresponsibility, and irresponsibility was on display in the video.
