Is it that difficult to understand someone behind you might not fit? Empathy hardly exists anymore.

Everyone can recline their seats. The airlines build them that way. It doesn't mean that doing so doesn't cause some people extreme discomfort. To say that you are amazed means you don't pay attention very well. Maybe you should ask someone who is tall how difficult it is to sit on an airline seat. Expand your horizons so you aren't so easily amazed.

Challenge yourself to be amazed by obtaining some perspective beyond your own or at least pick another word besides amazing. It really isn't that amazing.
