That practice should be outlawed. No one wants to smell your diarrhea defense concoction you slather on your face and neck in the morning.

Or your lavender and primrose nastiness you use to calm yourself from being herded mercilessly into tight spaces where you have to wonder if opening your tray table will disturb the idiot in front of you who is irate about the nincompoop in front of him who reclined her seat without getting signed and/or verbal consent.

That is the real lack of empathy. It wafts around the plane for rows and rows until all of us are so anti-diarrheal-ed that we are stopped up for months. Don’t people know that not everyone is suffering from diarrhea like them. I don’t shove my tape worm meds down their throats. Why do they feel the need to share their particular brand of medicine with the rest of us? Seriously. Talk about practicing medicine without a license.

And we argue over leg room. Sigh.
