college football is with respect to postseason glory. The reality is there has never been and never will be a true national champion in college football until the stupidity is fixed. So I say more power to them. The authors of the CFP have written a work of fiction. No reason to continue to publish it as fact. Alabama won a fictional title. So did UCF. So has every undefeated team and, perhaps, quite a few 1-loss teams in the history of College football.
You can argue all day about strength of schedule but there is no denying the fact that an undefeated team was left unchallenged this year and that's always a bit tragic for this fan. Even if they get trounced, I'd prefer to see the game than leave a season unfinished. Every time.
