All the while dodging the tractor that was pulling discs to loosen the clay (to expose the rocks), and also avoiding getting sprayed and/or run over by the water truck that was driving around turning the clay into 6-8 inches of mud (the guy driving was an idiot redneck who entertained himself by spraying us poor schmucks on the ground).
We also needed to pay attention in order to not to get run over by the big belly-scraper/dumper machines that scooped up the clay and hauled it to another part of the mine.
And perhaps my favorite part was when we got to eat lunch with our white-supremacist co-workers and hear all about how the Jews and minorities were plotting to take over America.
But I got to work with my bro (who is also on CB), and it was only 12 hours per day, so it wasn't all bad.
