likely subsidized by the Church I'm guessing. I don't know that for sure that the DesNews is bleeding financially, but it's very possible given how traditional newspapers are suffering across the country. The old business model in that industry no longer works as well as it once did. The Tribune will survive because SLC has a huge non-Mormon population and because they produce good journalism. They won't make as money as they once did, but they will survive.
