That's an economic principle. If you're strictly concerned with $ don't buy
New. Although there seemed to be a time during the cash for clunkers period where used cars weren't as great a deal as they historically had been.

Hardly anyone does these days. Everyone leases which allows the auto industry to keep churning out vehicles.
