Ive never regretted it, but I am cautious about recommending it also

The glut of lawyers has gotten worse since my time. Also, they don’t realize it (I didn’t), but new law graduates are practically useless. It takes about three years of on the job training to start learning how to actually be a lawyer and on the law firm side of things to start becoming anything but an expense. Not good in an already soft market.

The defense i always hear to this is BYU has more females who choose to only

Very true. I've long thought law school should be 2 years rather than 3. Give students the basic foundation

Northwestern offers a 2-year JD. Some others, too, but NW is most prestigious.

You can do 5 semesters at byu, I did it. It’s just not 24 months
