That makes the feat more achievable, but that

doesn’t mean climbing Everest is easy and not an impressive accomplishment. I’m not a mountaineer by any means, but I would like to hear from more experienced climbers on the board whether they think Everest is an easy climb even with all of the advances.

Article said they found him dead in his tent — sounded like alone. He may not have been on a fully guided trip.
