It's not a technically difficult climb, but that has never been the challenge of Everest. And no you probably can't...
climb it, even if you have the money. I don't think most people can train to do it, even if they have the resources. It takes a body being able to adjust to those conditions, I don't think most people can. And on top of your body being able to physically adjust, it also takes great mental strength to push through the misery they will constantly be in. And you won't just be miserable on the climb, you will be miserable even at Advanced Base Camp, where you will be for over a month. Constant headaches, stomach issues, dealing with the cold, aches and pains every day.

The altitude combined with the weather is the challenge. The Death zone starts at 26,000 feet, the summit is just over 29,000 feet, that's a lot of time to spend at an altitude where your body is literally dying. Most people just can't do it.
