Gordon Gee used to be for expansion, but not so much now.
This article is a few weeks old but I didn’t see it posted elsewhere.
The new Big 12 chairman, says that the Big 12 “got it right” when it decided not to expand, in 2016.
He did concede that the public process was not the right way to proceed. "It was a little bit messy — and I was part of the mess."
He believes that if realignment occurs he sees power conferences realigning based on geography but without the conference raids that occurred last time.
