I can understand why the B12 didn't expand when they did because of pressure by their TV partners. I'd be surprised though if they stay status quo when their contract is up for renewal. The questions that I wonder about ...

1. Why do conferences continue to haul around dead weight? Some current P5 schools simply do not add any value to their conferences. I get that they're traditional rivals but we've seen that that sentiment is all but gone in today's college landscape anyway.

2. What is BYU's next broadcast going to look like? I'm referring to who the partner will be and the length of the contract. It'll be interesting if it only runs through 2023 or 2024 when other P5 contracts expire.
