I understand why you are mad. But what are you rwally mad at?
Ty's offense was ranked 70th year 1.
Not great right, but not the crap of last year.
The problem is that people look at football in a vacuum. It isn't. It isn't. Football has a myriad number of moving elements to it. Let's look at tires first year. First his starting quarterback was coming off an injury did not get to practice until fall, and was learning a brand new offense. Under optimal circumstances any quarterback and offense would not be firing optimally with that set of circumstances alone. The wide receivers were young, inexperienced, and frankly not that good. As the NFL is demonstrating Jonah was a great athlete but not a great receiver. Detmer didn't have a single tied in knot one. He had to pull a defensive lineman over to play tight end the offensive line was coming off a couple years of being just plain terrible and continue to be bad the first year especially in pass blocking. In year 2 the same offensive line with some improvement working with the same crappy wr's and 1 te a true freshman.
Another starting wb from the previous year, who OBVIOUSLY had some issue whether physical or mental or both.
No talent at rb, ulabwas injured..and out if shape and just learning the offense as a fresh off mission in fall.
Then Qb gets injured next yp a kid who has been playing qb for only 2 years..TWO! His first start vs 5th best team in the country! And then the injuries keep going....Down to 4h string walk on fresh off nission qb and the 6th string rb behind the same o line that was meh to flat out bad at times
Ty had assistant coaches with NOrxperience, who werent coming to work on time.
He faced FIVE(5) top 25 d3fense and Six (6) top 30 defenses..thats half the freaking schedule and would be detrime tal to a good experi3nced proven offense and OC much less the mess Ty had to work with.
Perspective is important.
Which is why i bring up Dr Bob at UVA.
He had a returning healthy qb both years..athletes from recruiting classes ranked higher than BUU's(iow better athletes than BYU supposedly) and Dr BOBs offense as ra ked 117th year 1 and 100th last year.

THATwas with assistants HE HIRED...with assista ts he had worked with for a few years not (1)like Ty, with assistants wi5h years of experience..(NOT ZERO like Ty's), and Dr BOB himself with ovee Ten years as an OC and another decade of D1 coaching.

Now
The team has their AA te returning bigger faster steonger, with other TE's, Wr's like Collie who are proven and incoming freshman 3xp3cted to beat out current guys..(iow proving talent suck3d last year and before) With oiline talent that redahirt3d... And with tons of experience assistants including now 4..FOUR previois college OC's on staff..

This offense needs to be amazingky better or this hire and the aTy fire are a failure.
There is no way that with a simple upgrade in yalent alone and if inuroes dont happen that this years offense WITH Ty wouldnt have been back in the 60's to 70's range again.
Therefore we better see the 40's. It will help if th3 d can get stops and give the offense chances.
Our D has been bad. Especially in passing efficiency defense 107th last year.
