How long before they use it as a recruiting angle?
When the U can consistently point to talented players who started at BYU and left due to the Honor Code over and over then at a point that will be a big hurdle for our coaches to overcome. Players who are on the edge about wanting to live the honor code will see the growing number of returned missionaries who can't handle the Honor Code and it will be pretty easy for the U to play to that.
I am not suggesting that we get rid of the Honor Code or anything, but the current manner in which it's enforced makes it a liability for athletics going forward.
