If you take out episodes 1-3, I have thuroughly enjoyed every Star Wars movie I have seen. There certainly have been many plot holes and akward story advances, but the movies successfully engaged my "wilfull suspension of disbelief" and I was able to enjoy them anyways.
Since I threw out episodes 1-3 of Star Wars, it is only fair to discard the first 2 Harry Potter movies. For the most part, HP movies 3-8 did not engage my "wilfull suspension of disbelief". The did manage to inspire a general apathy towards improbabilities. I'm not sure that is a complement, but it at least makes the movies watchable.
My view may be due in part of first impressions. The original Star Wars trilogy was amazing. The first 2 Harry Potter movies were almost painful in their tedium and akwardness.
