RE: I interpreted much of his behavior differently...
He poisoned a little kid, strangled a guy w/ a bike lock, ran over 2 guys in a car, faked his SIL accident to scare Hank, he kidnaps his daughter, etc. He wasn't a good person, but, he had redeeming qualities about him. He wasn't evil like Tuco or Hector Salamanca, but, he was not a good person.
