I'm not sure where the failure is, but am now feeling this is, in fact, a huge failure. You don't let a coaching staff of a championship level program get away, especially to the state school down the street. Whether a failure of the athletic department, "student life" department or the people that decided to reorganize, the decision clearly poo-poo'd the value of one of the programs that in the last 5 years has actually had the most success. I know it's a club sport, but that's just a Title IX issue. It was still one of the pride and joys of BYU fans that haven't been getting what they wanted out of the football and basketball programs lately. Now the coaching staff that did it is at UVU. So, so bad.
