Smyth and Wayne coached the same way they always had. Except Wayne was on his litteral death bed, so he wasn't able to do everything he had before. Kimball was BY FAR the best coach on the staff. Organized practices. Developed game plans. Ran all social media and organized relationship with BYU IT Department who did the broadcasting. Trust me when I tell you this, things changed a lot when the coaching staff changed after the 2015 championship. When Kjar was gone and Wayne was sick, Smyth had to try to step up and do more of the coaching.
