I'm not up on the recent club sports at BYU.
Let me clear up that wrestling was not dropped because of thoughts of starting a women's program. It was dropped because of Title Nine. BYU did not want to add anymore women's sports which means it had to cut men's sport which was the total opposite of the purpose of Title Nine which was to create opportunities for women not take away from Men. BYU lost a great Athletic Director because of this decision.
