No one argues Detmer is on the Rushmore of BYU football.

But we have scored more touchdowns through 3 games this year, than we scored through 7 games last year. That is the most important stat. Points on the board matter more than any ranking, and we have seen a big improvement even in the very beginnings of a new system.
