Grimes is clearly a genius on the offensive line, which is the keystone to any good offense. As I've mentioned previously, the assistant coaches on offense, Pugh, Roderick, Sitake, and Steward are a huge step up from last year. Detmer also operated without a QB Coach, which is a catastrophe for most first time offensive coordinators. Let's not ever repeat that again. Once with Doman and then again with Detmer is enough.

Despite the low offensive production so far this year, we had 0 turnovers against both Arizona and Wisconsin and only 4 penalties against Wisconsin.

The overall improvement is still in its infancy. Improved recruiting is yet to come...
