Saleapaga comments BYU didnt appear very cool in recruiting, "Saleapaga's parents urged him to sign with BYU, which was a program he wasn't all impressed with when making his official visit. “I honestly didn’t like it,” Saleapaga recalled. “We didn’t have the new weight room yet and we didn’t have the lounge — all the flashy stuff and I was coming off the Colorado visit. So me just being a little 17-year-old, I was just looking for the flashy (stuff) and all the new uniforms. All that Pac-12 kind of stuff.”

So "all that flashy stuff" that he is referring to - weight room, lounge, new uniforms that are eye-catching to a lot of young men ---- has that been upgraded since Saleapaga signed? As a fan not in Utah I simply dont keep up with what upgrades have been made recently....are there investments being made, or recently made in better facilities, more eye-catching stuff?
Article mentioned he isn't LDS, nor his family, so thats cool the parents felt so strongly about standards at BYU that they pushed him to sign with us despite no religious tie. Looking forward, any word if Saleapaga is now the starter, and Shoaf is a 2nd stringer?
