BYU sent some people to look at the University of Oregon (when they were really hot as a team) and we copied their field, weight room, lounge, etc. Some heavy hitters financially ponied up the money and we did a major updgrade and have been making changes all the time. But every year some teams make changes to upgrade and we can't upgrade every year. This next year the stadium will have changes to connect the walkways at the mid level section to include bathrooms and more restaurants. Still no plans to fill in the rest of the stadium corners and create more seats since we aren't selling out the stadium regularly any longer. (Same problem at a lot of colleges.) This year they have added stuff to allow phones to work inside the stadium (a problem in the past) and an app so you can watch get messages, watch replays, etc. on your phone inside the stadium. I heard this all from Tom Holmoe while attending his one session during BYU Education Week. So, in essence, our facilities aren't all that bad right now and upgrades are planned regularly, but as to whether it will be the weight room and lounge right away, I don't know. We are one of the best non P5 with our facilities and in a beautiful locations with our mountains in the background.
