Fairly priced to maximize revenue =/= bargain.
BYU tickets are priced about average compared to other P5 teams in the west with an inferior slate of opponents. I'd hardly call that a bargain.
I think maximizing revenue is great for BYU and I'd actually be a little upset if they didn't do that. I am worried that they're alienating future customers though.
I think they're working on that with Cosmo Crew which really is a bargain - $50 for four football tickets, 4 men's BB tickets and free entry to every other BYU sporting event is a sweet deal and a bargain. I'd like to see more advertising for Cosmo Crew.
Season tickets are not a bargain.
