I’m all for second and even third chances and of course forgiveness
But waiting for her bones and bruises to heal and the felony charges to be handled i hope isn’t too much to ask from a university that prides itself in honor and integrity. His twitter tirade toward Wells can be forgiven without using him to run the flag against that opponent less than 6 months later. That’s not typically how forgiveness works. I’m not saying the twitter stuff should keep him from ever participating at BYU, but if he’s convicted of the assault charges I certainly am. You can forgive and still hold someone accountable for their actions by not granting special privileges.
