The funny thing is a lot of originally thought Tahi's issues with Wells were part of a broader problem with Wells and the decline of the program.  I had no idea about his past struggles and I wonder if he wasn't a contributing factor to some of the problems USU had during those years as a kind of cancer.  I have no idea. 

No BYU shouldn't do background checks but they know about it now.  In this day and age if they allow him to do it its terrible optics to have a guy on bond for multiple violent felonies carry out the flag...Baylor like optics.
