Thats why you are not a coach/analyst. Katoa was the 5th read on that play.
were 4 routes all on the right (wide) side of the field. The weak side DE got push up the field. The wide side DE stunted inside. There is literally no reason to scramble in Katoa's direction. A throw across the field would be a easy pick six for the CB 5 yards off Katoa staring at tanner. Its not a throw any QB would make. Shumway, Milne, Bushman, and Collie are all running routes on the right side. there really never was a pocket at all because all three DL rushed the left hand side which forced tanner to move to his right.
There are countless examples of Tanner making poor choices. Wilson should start Sat. I am not defending Tanner in any way, but your analysis of this play is way off.

You could do this on most plays. Tanner struggles to see guys open all the time. Has for 2 seasons now.
