It's because the main injury, which is hard to delineate by medical tests, is
actually to his coconut. Although I agree with others that he clearly has different mechanics than in elite 11 or freshman year, it is his decision making and processing skills that I think make the most difference in his change in performance. This is also not his fault - some people clearly have more susceptibility to CTE than other people. Combine that with performance anxiety, and the three issues together can really mushroom, as evidenced by our inept offense the last 17+ games.
