was my experience....I watched 4 quarters of football waiting for some sort of break out play, some sort of spark. When Zach Wilson hurdled, that was it. But that was about it the entire game. And it was followed up by 2 straight dead ball penalties putting us at a 1st and 15 instead of 1st and 5 and a field goal instead of a touchdown. There was very little to cheer for during that game. That's a simple fact. It was a boring football game.
The one moment where it was about to get exciting, the coaches pulled the plug on the excitement and punted. Was it a bad call? I don't know. Were they justified in punting? sure. Was I extremely disappointed as a football fan that was cheering in the moment? yes.
Like I said, the boos were no more than 5 seconds. It was an emotional high point of the game, that got shot down quickly.
I think you're making a much bigger deal of this than it actually was.
