Now, it is hilarious to suggest BYU isn't a good fit for a P5 due to insufficient recruiting. With BYU recruiting, and thus general performance, historically meeting or exceeding roughly half of the P5 programs out here (admittedly the bottom half), such a suggestion is truly hilarious. Now, it is true there are questions about BYU's recruiting ceiling and it's characteristics related to recruiting non-members and top LDS athletes. But those questions would in no way undermine BYU's worthiness as a P5 institution. Indeed, BYU's recruiting would improve as a P5 member.
