One thing that is true, each school will do what is best for them
They joined comferences because they saw it was to their benefit.
They took TV rights to the Supreme Court because they saw it was to their benefit.
They sign away their TV rights to the conference because they see that is to their benefit.
If individual schools get what they consider to be better offers to keep those rights individually, at some point they will. Will that end the conference structure as we know it?
Time will tell.
