I think there's a certain amount of fair turnabout in play here.

If we stipulate to the BYU fanbase's (and players') claims that the reason BYU won so many games against others, including Utah, was that God simply loved BYU fans and players more and held disdain for those others, including Utah...

...then it is now reasonable to ask what exactly the BYU community must have done to change God's mind so. 😉
