Flip that around. If Wilson is on Utah you love him. The entire Utah fanbase
loves him.
BYU wins those three games with Whitt instead of Sitake. Those losses weren't on Wilson. They were all games BYU should have won because of Wilson's play but instead lost because of inexplicable coaching decisions. There's not a sane Utah fan out there who would say he was confident Utah would come back and win once Wilson shut RES up after putting BYU back up by 20 at 27-7 following his pick-6. Wilson demolished the Utah D until Grimes committed coaching malpractice and handcuffed him (and the BYU did the same to the Utah O until Tuiaki did the same for the D by dropping to a base 3 rush). BYU lost that game on coaching, not on Wilson. Utah would LOVE to have him behind center.
