They’ve been the offense that they are pretty much ever since whittingham took over. We do not know that so definitively with BYU. I can tell you that BYU’s coaches feel that they ran the offense the way they had to because of the personnel that they have, not becausenthat is the offense they’d like to be. They hope to be a more wide open offense as they acquire the players that can actually do it. I do not think Utah aspires to be much more than it is. Yes sure everyone wants to be better but I’m talking about what they want to be as an offense. BYU wants to be wide open, Utah does not. That is the real difference between them and trying to decide which one to play at. Do you play fir the one that has 15 years of ground an pound with no real change or the one that at least wants to be a bit more wide open but doesn’t yet have the players to do it but feels you might be one of those players? Tough thing for a kid to figure out.
