Or better yet I read the articles surrounding this vaccine that made claims to it being tide to cancer and/or death and talked with my pediatrician about them to better understand everything.
These claims have been around for years, it's not something new. 6 years ago when we had questions we asked. The feed back we got from the pediatrician was, yes it was rushed but its not like others have not but have been successful. Did she think there was validity to the claims...not really and said it was yet to decided but said there are always side effects to every vaccine but usually low.
Asked if she would give to her kids...yes but the reason was not that she didn't trust her kids but because she didn't trust potential future partners they may have. But she said if there was assurances their partners wouldn't be infected she would probabaly not give it to them.
We decided we would not based on those factors. So did the "rumors" play into it, yes they did. Did we use that as a reason...I would say yes but it was not the ultimate reason. We just felt if there was reason not to maybe we go with our gut and not do it. It was long before I has interest in EO and had nothing to do with us vaccinating with anything else.
I saw an article posted by someone else on FB, read over it for a quick minute and posted it to CB with the comments I did knowing someone would be quick to give an alternative view with all the anti-vaxx hate. I figured if there was something wrong someone would point it out.
