I say this as one who grew up in Utah.

It seems to me the ones who end up w a chip on their shoulder are those who grow up somewhere else then get room mates or mission companions who never left Utah and there's some getting used to what you hear come out of their mouth. It shouldn't be an issue. Stereotyping against Utahns is dumb. As is Stereotyping against anyone.
