I grew up in California (since I was 11). When I went to BYU almost everyone from Utah hated on California almost as soon as you mentioned you were from there. It got old after while and I probably said some anti Utah stuff. I moved away after graduating from BYU to go to graduate school and never moved back west. I almost moved back to Utah after I got a job offer there a couple months ago and was pretty excited about it, but after a much better offer to stay put, I did.
