Players don't necessarily make great coaches, so that does very little for me - Nearly the whole listed resume is his experience as a player in college or NFL. If he was great as a GA and Grimes is good with it, I am all for it. Don't understand why these Reynolds brothers think he is a shoe-in. He has very little real coaching experience.
He may have a lot of the technical stuff down, but if he isn't a good recruiter, teacher and motivator, he will not be a good OL coach. We need to continue to bring in great talent. Being a technician alone is not enough.
