I agree. I instead do a 4-mile walk in the morning, nice and brisk. Then I hit
the gym at lunch and that works out great. I don't want to see or talk to people in the early AM or lift or do heavy cardio. But that walk gets me going, gives me time to think through my day, and is the best use of that time I have found.
