Econ does actual math and grades on a curve. If he wants to be a quant go that route. If you want soft finance go
business school. I’d recommend an Econ major with a math minor. You will get paid.

If you can’t get into to finance you will struggle in Econ. Econ was grades on a true curve and substantively
