A public forum like CB isn't the proper, nor even effective place for correction

of this action nor any other action you deem inappropriate. The place to do that is to the event staff. I'm not even defending the sign nor will I, but I won't point fingers at those who did it in a place like CB where no positive outcome will be made. Now, in defense of those not here (not on CB as far as we know) yes, I will say it's wrong to say ("judge") the meaning of a sign someone held up when you nor I know what their intentions were for the sign. I have been around many people who say or post something inappropriate not knowing that it is inappropriate. Since the judgements about the sign were made on this forum it is right to dispute those judgements in the same forum they were made, which is CB. That is what I am currently doing and yes other types of posts like this (complaining about someone where it is ineffective and not the appropriate outlet for change is judgmental) are judgmental. Definition: "having or displaying an excessively critical point of view." If you have a problem with something, take the complaint to where it's appropriate or where it's constructive and something can be done about it. Otherwise, it's just simple complaining about other mistakes someone's made in an echo chamber of people with similar complaints but where no change or positive impact is made which yes would be excessively critical.

Sure, you're rebuttal may be that now I'm judging you. My response didn't single you out or any action of yours, rather it was regarding the overall feeling that such posts and mindset can create around campus making it so that it's not  "hospital for those that need to be made whole" but one that is meant for those "not in need of a physician" (figuratively speaking of course).
