Over my time being on it yes I have noticed these types of things are posted all the time, creating a culture, or at least perception of a culture of finger-pointing and having to walk on egg shells to someone unfamiliar with BYU i.e. prospective non-members and recruits. I apologize if you felt attacked by this, I definitely meant my original comment as a general response to these posts because I have seen first-hand that these types of comments are more destructive for the church and/or BYU's image than whatever it is they are criticizing. Another example of this, more extreme example is a recent convert to the church wore an immodest dress (she didn't know yet what was appropriate) and of course a member calls her out on it when it would've been better to first befriend her and eventually make the standards for dress known. That's why a complaint about the sign to the proper outlet such as the event staff would be the better place to bring it up because something can actually be done about it and isn't castigating the supposed offenders publicly.
