I think they both are great fits for the era and teams
They play or played for. I think Stockton was a better defender, game manager, and distributor than Curry. Steph is an elite scorer and does the other things well but not at the same level that Stockton did.
The question I ask myself is if I had to pick one of them in a draft who would I take? I would say it depends on what kind of team I am building and am I considering longevity. If it is just straight up their four years in their prime I probably go with Curry, but again it may depend on who else I have on my team.
