Three players from the '09 team went on to the NBA. Pargo from Chicago, Daye
from SoCal, and ultimately, Sacre from Canada. Yes, there were a couple of key contributors and a lot of walkons/deep roster players local to GU.
I agree that their recruiting has continued to develop and progress. The disconnect here is, IMO, that GU started having major success in the late 1990's. Their recruiting changed significantly by the mid 2000's. Flyzag has the perspective that major changes had occurred well before 2009. To your point, major changes occurred from 2009-present as well. Both are correct.
