I’m a Zag fan, I’ll admit that right off.  But that statement needs to be challenged.  

Two points:

1.  Gonzaga has never been implicated in any of that funny business.  They might be the only top ten team that was never even mentioned as a sidebar.  I challenge you to show me any article, no matter how how factual or gossip based, that shows Gonzaga to be a part of the recruiting scandal.

2.  Gonzaga’s recruiting classes are about the same as BYU's, sometimes lower.  I believe the Zags have had 1, maybe 2 classes rated in the top 25 ever.  The highest ranked recruit, Zach Collins committed to GU before he started a HS game.  He was a reserve as a junior playing behind 2 D1 players.  He blew up his senior year and was ranked 32nd I believe.  I will add that next year’s class will be highly ranked.  Benefits of playing in the NC game?

Sorry for the rant.  I read this board often and feel that your opinion is in the minority on here.
