But guess what people like to do on their weekends with their free time? They drink alcohol. But I’ve been tailgating umpteen times and played cornhole and eaten barbecue and delicious spreads, thrown the football around and watched games on some guy’s portable TV setup. While alcohol was present and abundant, I still had a blast participating without drinking.
This is like confusing eating out as “revolving around alcohol” just because people who drink will drink when they eat out. It’s a component but it isn’t necessary and tailgating is still fun without it.
