BYU should be applauded for being more transparent and not forcing students to
subsidize its athletic department by adding to their student loans. Students at some of these other schools should be standing outside athletic department offices with pitchforks and torches demanding immediate cessation of mandatory fees.
Not saying BYU shouldn't tweak its approach here but in many ways BYU does it better than others.
