in and do seminars to prep everyone to lose their offices and cubicles. They give these big speeches about productivity and collaboration. It's all a big front. Everyone knows it is just cost saving. Plain and simple. It's so condescending. Collaboration. C'mon. Maybe if everyone's corporate job was like the movies where people sit around conference tables with sketch pads and brainstorm new slogans or toy lines.
I was also thinking about how unhealthy it is. Not even a cubicle wall to block the sneeze or cough of the guy 3 feet away from you? Disturbing.
It will be hard to move away from it since it is saving money. It's like expecting airlines to start providing more leg room or bigger seats.
