Do you enjoy doing what you're doing?
Do you feel like you're good at your job and that your co-workers and employer appreciate the work you do?
If so, then why buy into what you read over what you're experiencing?

More important to find something you really enjoy. Get on good meds that work for you w/ few side effects.

I use a lot of Tableau, Alteryx, and many DB technologies. Python is great too.
